My intention is to create safe spaces and platforms in which people can give voice to the unspeakable – because once the unspeakable is spoken, we can start to pick up the pieces and rediscover a life of beauty and hope and fullness.
All of the work I do stems from these simple beliefs:
- Everyone deserves to be seen and their experience acknowledged
- Each person deserves to have their story be heard
- Every person all deserve to know they are not alone
That means creating spaces that hold eyes that see, ears that listen, and hearts that love.
By creating these precious and love-filled spaces, my deepest hope is that you are able to grieve, to heal, to grow, and to find the beauty and hope among the ruins that death, loss, and painful life experiences leave behind.
Grief and Loss – Including Pregnancy, Infant, and Child Loss
Counseling support is available for anyone who has lost a loved one through death, divorce, estrangement and any other loss. I have a specialty in pregnancy, infant, and child loss that includes supporting those with no living children, those who have experienced recurrent losses and infertility, and support around adoption, abortion, and terminated rights.
Trauma – Physical, Sexual, Emotional, and Medical
Trauma informed practice and support for those who have survived physical, sexual, and emotional trauma and abusive relationships. Support is also available for those who have experienced medical trauma such as that caused by cancer or chronic illness treatment in childhood or adulthood or unexpected medical emergencies.
Postpartum, Prenatal, and Infertility Support
Support for postpartum anxiety and depression difficulties. Pregnancy after Loss support is also available for those who have experiences previous miscarriage(s) or stillbirth(s). Emotional support for navigating the uncertainty and grief of infertility is also offered.
Counseling and support for those struggling with disordered eating and body image challenges. A holistic approach is taken and connections with other community resources such as nutritionists, medical professionals, and more as needed.
Anxiety and Stress
Support for managing anxiety, worry, stress, and general life difficulties is available. Help is offered to help break the cycle of constant anxiety and feeling of stuckness.
